About The Project

$500 is needed to add inventory to her fabric store
$150 is being invested by her and her family/friends

Esther was doing well before Covid crisis.  With a small investment she was able to increase her sales by 73% and after the lock down she feels she will be able to continue to grow her business.

Esthers dream is opening a lappa store, which is a fabric store selling clothes that she sews and tie and dye bedsheets. She notices lappa is a fast growing business.  She enjoys tie and dye which she has mastered. She is currently learning how to sew at the Annie T. Doe Academy in Buchanan. With your investment she will start tie and dyeing her fabric/bed sheets and sewing African costumes. After her training, she will be given a sewing machine to start her business. She aspires to sewing children’s clothes as well. She is very creative and looks forward to finishing her classes, so she can open up her shop.

Paying it Forward

Esther recently helped buy clothes for two little girls in the neighborhood whose parents couldn't afford to do that.  "It is nice to see happy kids".  Esther also helps a nurse and a worker with food as well as she pays some of the school fees for a student in Monrovia and one in Lofa county.  Investing in Esther will lead to her investing in others.
