About The Project

$480 needed to purchase seed and manure land for rental
$85 contributed by Anosiyata towards her project

With an initial investment Anosiyata bought seed and doubled the cabbage they put into production. She is grateful of this project and sees that it will improve the lives of her family. She also views this project as means to help other families by offering employment to work on her farm. The funds from future investments could go into funding a boda boda (motorcycle) taxi service that Anosiyata’s husband, Benon, would operate.

Paying it Forward

Anosiyata will pay it forward by offering employment to the local community to work on their farm.

Backstory

Anosiyata lives with husband, Benon, and eight school aged children. Poor roads, no electricity and distant hospitals are some of the challenges her family faces. She works with the local community to construct shelters near the main roads that serve as markets. They sell their produce to local traders as well to local families.
