About The Project

We plan to build and organize a local marketplace that provides the community with the food that we catch, as well as job opportunities. Folks are welcome to improve their situations as we can provide a stable job and an opportunity to care for their families.


Paying it Forward

Through this project, I am able to support my community in ways that directly impact their lives for the better. I hope to empower those around me by giving them the opportunity to earn and provide for their own families. This also gives younger children a chance to put their time toward their educational goals and improve their lives.

Backstory

My name is Massa Morris. As a single mother to six children (3 girls and 3 boys), my days are filled with a constant fight to feed my family and keep them in school. I must sell fish to survive and support my children's education. I understand that my family is not the only one experiencing these issues. What started as a way to provide for my family has culminated in a need to support my community. No one is alone in this fight for survival and I hope I can provide opportunities to those around me who need help.
