• Misshel's small piggery began in 2021, as an extension of our small farm. We now have 10 piglets, and hoping to have many more. We are in the piggery business, farrowing them, fattening them and then selling them for additional income.

About The Project

The goal of this project is to expand and grow our piggery businesses through farrowing. With your investment we will buy more pigs and feed so that the pigs can have food to grow appropriately. As a result of your investment, this modest business will grow. This will benefit not only my family, but also others who are working on similar projects. When our project grows, we will be able to assist and train others by providing jobs and inspiring them to create businesses  for themselves. My husband and I decided to start this business because of the pandemic, to provide another source of income.

Paying it Forward

During this pandemic, I will assist others by inspiring them to be innovative, take risks, and be hopeful. When our enterprise grows, we will undoubtedly assist them by creating jobs and equipping them with the information and skills they need to expand their business.

Backstory

My husband lost his work because of the pandemic, so we decided to create a piggery on our small farm. Because our residence is distant from the farm, we sleep there to keep an eye out for our pigs, particularly the pregnant pig or sow. We have ten piglets so far, and we've decided to grow them with the help of my husband and child. The biggest issue for us, I believe, is when we don't have enough money to feed our pigs. Expanding my businesses will not only  aid our family, but also  encourage others to start businesses as well. Starting the piggery businesses  is a huge benefit to my family because, in addition to providing a source of income, it allows us to provide for our children's needs, particularly in terms of their education. Our hopes is to expand it not only to aid our family, but also to encourage others to do the same.
