About The Project

$800 needed to purchase more animals for his livestock business
$85 contributed by Enock towards his project

With an initial investment Enoch bought two rams to add to his flock. He saved some of the money for veterinary bills. He will use this income to pay for his education as well as his siblings’ tuition. This project has given him hope for a better future as he has recently seen an income from the business by selling offspring that were ready.

Paying it Forward

Enoch wants to be able to help pay for his siblings education through the success of his business.

Backstory

Enock is 25 years old, the eldest child of five. The children live together with their parents. The family’s source of income is from the older members working for local farmers. They also sell some of the produce they grow. The soil in this area is fertile, therefore agriculture provides many of the local jobs. Enock works for farmers during school breaks. His challenge is that his school is far from his home and the roads are poor. Enoch sees road improvement as a key to a varied economic success of this area.
