About The Project

Charity sells fresh foods and other dry food items like maize flour, silver fish among others. Her products are bought by her neighbors in their home trading centre. She buys the food items from farmers in her village or from transporters, and from markets. She plans to increase her capital so that she stocks all the goods that her customers want.
She says that can double her income and improve the welfare of her household


Paying it Forward

Charity is a member of saving groups and expansion of her business would mean increased savings in groups which her friends would borrow to start businesses

Charity Mukundane is a 25-year-old who lives with her husband and 3 children. Her husband is a primary school teacher. 

She is happy about progress of her business and the money she has received from CII Project. She is concerned that the quality of schools in their community is not good.
