She plans to expand her business so that she stock larger quantities of products as that would cut her transport costs and also enable her to sell to other smaller scale retailers in her community

Tumaini Furaha is a 40 year old woman who lives with her children and her husband in Rwamwanja as refugees from Congo. She has a few relatives in Rwamwanja and generally likes the hospitality of her community members.
She is proud that she has improved her shelter from a leaking roof and she now roofed with new tents/plastic sheetings. Besides the small food items business, Furaha also grows maize and beans for food.
