About The Project

Sharifa runs a poultry project from her home in Basecamp 4, Rwamwanja. She buys the chicks when they are still young, rears them and sells them when they are mature for meat

She relies on her experience in poultry farming and her supportive husband to run the business. She plans to expand her business so that she is able to buy more chicks, improve feeding and sell more regularly

Paying it Forward

Sharifa says she has friends and neighbors with whom they help each other in times of need and she hopes her projects will indirectly help others through that mutual support
