  • Johnson Arebahona is a farmer who rears pigs from his home in Mahani 2, Kamwenge district in Uganda. He rears piglets and sell them when they mature but sometimes, he slaughters and sells pork. He plans to expand it when he gets more money

About The Project

Johnson plans to expand his piggery project by buying more pigs, construct a shelter for pigs, and improve their feeding and treatment. He says that will increase his production and make him the most reliable supplier of piglets for rearing and pigs for pork, which he says will improve his income and boost his capital for using in farming and trading in produce. He is hopeful that that will improve his welfare and enable him to pay scholl fees for his children


Paying it Forward

Johnson is a member of many social and saving groups and he helps people a lot and he believes expansion of his businesses would benefit many friends and neighbors with knowledge and resources

Backstory

Johnson leaves with his wife and their 5 children, with other two relatives. He had a challenge of failure to get capital for business, but he is proud of his hard work and support from CII Project. 
He thinks he needs knowledge and exposure about farming and business. 

Johnson thinks people in his community need to improve on cooperation in their usual life and business.
