  • This project is about sewing and selling school uniforms for the purpose of earning income. The clothes I sew are school skirts, shirts, shorts, sportswear and dresses. I am asking for financial assistance so that I can buy an electric embroidery machine and fabrics.

About The Project

My biggest goal is to make sure I sew school clothes with reliable quality. I need to improve my services by providing my customers with durable products. For this reason, I am asking to be given the tools for carrying out my commitment to provide the community with better services in a timely manner. Upon receiving the requested funds, I expect the results of this project will be positive. I will ensure that I produce enough products to sell at a low cost that is compatible with the current economic situation. Therefore, this project will be a savior for those with low income.




Paying it Forward

In order to ensure I am giving support to my colleagues, all school uniforms for students will be sold at a discount of 45%. This will help parents feel relieved of their costly school uniform requirements.

Backstory

My name is Ana. I am a 22-year-old girl, and I am single. I live with my parents and my three younger siblings. I finished secondary school in 2020, and afterwards started learning to sew different styles of clothes. Soon after, my Mom and Dad bought me a sewing machine. While working, I came to realize that many students liked the way that I sew their school clothes. As a result, I have a large market of customers from schools. After Dickson followed me and told me about CII, I decided that it would be a good idea to become part of it. The challenge I am currently facing is not having an embroidery machine, which would reduce the work of finding this machine for other people. I need to have this embroidery machine and enough fabrics so that I can sew the students' clothes for the year 2023.
