About The Project

Hategeka is a farmer who rears pigs for sale; he normally sells piglets. He also buys pigs and slaughters them and sells pork.

Hategeka plans to expand his piggery business by rearing and buying more pigs and that would increase his income and change the welfare of his family. He has a very good relationship with Ugandans


Paying it Forward

Byukusenge works with many people in buying pigs and selling pork and he believes all those would benefit if his business expanded

Backstory

Byukusenge is a 27 year old man who lives with his wife and 3 children and a few relatives. Him and his family have lived in Rwamwanja for 10 years as refugees from Congo. His wife sells food items like tomatoes and silver fish.

He is happy for having good neighbors and leaders and also proud of his hard work for he just completed building a new house for business and he has a good relationship with people especially Ugandans
