About The Project

Bwenge Uzamukunda rears sheep. Her homes is located near the swamp which is strategically a very good position because most of the land in Rwamwanja is cultivated with crops and its such places like along the swamps and wetlands that are used for rearing animals. She plans to improve the project by constructing a shelter for the animals and buying more sheep if she gets money

Backstory

Bwenge Uzamukunda is a 44 year old woman who lives with her husband and their 9 children in Rwamwanja where they have lived for 10 years as refugees from Congo. 6 of their 9 children are in school and besides sheep rearing, Bwenge and her husband do other economic activities like growing maize and beans.

One of her daughters started a small business and she is also contributing to income in the family. She is happy about the relationship with her husband
