$510 needed to purchase inventory for her business
$265 contributed by Jane towards her project
Jane and her husband, Emmanuel, earn income from running a boda boda (moto-bike taxi) transport service, buying and selling goats and sheep and maize flour. Investments will help them buy goods in bulk for resale purposes and to help realize her goal of opening a market. The main source of their income, however, is from selling vegetables they grow on their farm (Irish potatoes, onions wheat, beans). Jane wants to grow Irish potatoes and onions on a larger scale. Investments will also help buy more seed and hire local labor. Their market will also provide the space to sell their farm produce.
As the crop production increases so will the need for Jane to hire labor from the local community.
