$600 needed to purchase to more chickens
$200 contributed by Moses towards his project
Moses and his wife are learning farming skills; how to grow and cultivate Irish potatoes and raise livestock and chickens. They understand the use of manure for fertilizer for the soils. They have bought a goat with initial donations. They have managed to put money into a local savings group (SACCO). They will continue to grow and sell potatoes and, with future investments, add chickens to the flock and grow his poultry business. These early investments have help Moses provide the basic needs for his young family.
Moses will provide jobs for others in his community. And he wants to educate others, from his experieces, on how to get ahead in this community of displaced families.
