About The Project

$785 needed to purchase used clothing and pay for rent
$240 contributed by Jackline towards his project

With an initial investment Jackline bought clothing. She has learned about running a business from the shared experiences of other project families. She has learned to save money and not take out loans.

Paying it Forward

Jackline would like to see the community come together and work on improving the local roads by filling in pot-holes.

Backstory

Jackline and her husband have been growing and selling vegetables and working day labor jobs. They have a 2 ½ year old daughter. The income from her clothing business will afford the family to give their daughter a good education. She has seen a recent improvement in healthcare in her village. Transportation for goods and services remains difficult for this area. She observes that the schools teach how to look for jobs but should be teaching job skills and creating their own jobs.
