$445 needed to purchase sheep, livestock supplies, and to rent land
$290 contributed by Gideon towards his project
Gideon and his wife would like to plant elephant grass to feed the sheep. (Elephant grass is an important forage crop in the area). Your investment will help them add to the sheep flock, buy the plant seed, and provide medication for the sheep. The manure from the animals is productive as an organic fertilizer for their own crops and can be sold to local farmers. The sheep operation will provide jobs to neighbors of their community.
The family farm helps support the local community by providing jobs.
