About The Project

Jules Gafaranga is a business who is known for selling dry cassava and irish potatoes. He buys the food items from the Ugandan communities surrounding Rwamwanja and mainly sells to his fellow refugees home in the trading centre.

He plans to expand her business and start selling in markets and he hopes to rely on the saving group he started with other CII project and any other source of funding 


Paying it Forward

His business supports local businesses such as boda-boda riders and an improvement in his business would help them too

Gafaranga is a 42-year-old man who lives in Rwamwanja with his wife and 7 children and they been refugees in Rwamwanja/Uganda for 4 years

The main challenge is lack of drugs in public hospitals and reduction of humanitarian support by World Food Program
