About The Project

$805 needed to purchase to buy weaving materials and rent land to grow vegetables
$215 contributed by Ester towards her project

Ester plans to expand the hand-crafted items she makes. Your investment will help her buy the materials she needs for her crafts. Future investments could help rent a space for her business or buy fabric. An increased income will provide a better standard of living for her family by way of better housing, improving their diet and be able to make regular visits to the health clinic.

Paying it Forward

Growing her businesses will provide work for other families in her community.

Backstory

In addition to Ester’s hand craft business, she and her husband grow and sell beans, Irish potatoes and sorghum. Their daughter is a student and continuing her education is a goal for the family. The challenges this family faces are familiar to other families in the village, crop damage from animals, limited market access and no electricity.
