$340 needed to purchase sheep, materials and seeds to grow his farming business
$15 contributed by Emmanuel towards his project
Currently Emmanuel works for others, sells cabbage, potatoes, beans and handcrafts he buys from local artisans. With initial investments he has purchased a female sheep and a chicken. He has joined a savings program and plans to continue to contribute to it. With future investments and an increased income, his long-range plans are to buy land, buy more sheep and chickens and plant a variety of vegetables to sell.
Emmanel and family are just trying to survive and live in a day-to-day existence. Because he and his wife work for others, he understands that as his farm grows he will need to employ people from his community.
