About The Project

$570 needed to purchase used clothing to add inventory to grow her business
$140 contributed by Doreen towards his project

Doreen is providing a needed service to her community; they don't have to travel to buy clothing or pay transport costs. She bought an expanded selection of clothing with an initial investment. She saved some money in a local women’s organization, Kanombe Women Twifatanya, that promotes family and business. With future investments she will save towards renting a space for better market exposure.

Paying it Forward

Backstory

Doreen and her husband, Wilson, have three young children. Two are in attending school. Wilson grows a cash crop of Irish potatoes. Doreen and Wilson live in harmony with their community where they spend time sharing views and ideas on how to improve their lives with relatives, neighbors and friends. The family was in debt from an illness Doreen suffered, but the debt has been paid and this is a source of pride for her family. Better roads and electricity would make their life and stand of living better.
